A few of my friends know this, but I do want to say for the record that I am a believer in the medium and really just want us to be a little more self-aware.

I think we are past the "medium is the message" era and it is time to begin
to figure how to be on the planet together, in a clean, efficient
environment that makes room for all reasonable ways of living. That is the
focus of future think/future speak. Techno geekiness has its place but won't
dominate the conversation just like engineers don't tend to dominate
conversations of broadly generalized topics. More will be revealed. Hard to
predict but fun to try! Especially of you are right!
